The Founder

Prof. Dr. Sir Luong Minh Dang, M.D. (T.M.), Ph.D., D.SC. was the founder of Universal Energy Healing Organization in the United States since 1989, and in recent years the name of this organization has changed to MANKIND – ENLIGHTENMENT – LOVE (MEL) (http://www.mel-ozie.com/)

Dr. Luong received the Doctorate Degree from the School of Complementary Medicines in the Open International University for Complementary Medicines in Munich, Germany in September 1994, and the Doctor of Science Diploma in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in April 1996. He was officially appointed by the Open International University as Professor in November 1997. Furthermore, he received the Knighthood Award in the year 2000 and become a member of the Board of Governors of the University. The goal of Universal Energy Healing is to promote health in both aspects – Mind and Body. To achieve this goal, we devote all of our times and efforts to help people with a method of healing and preventing illnesses through the applications of Universal Energy and Yoga Meditation.

Dr. Luong had discovered and studied this technique in Vietnam since 1972, and started to teach this method to a small group of 27 persons in San Diego, California, U.S.A., on July 20, 1989. With the effectiveness of Universal Energy Healing method, the number of students gradually increased. At the present time, Universal Energy Healing has more than one million students from Level 1 to Level 13 (in more than 67 countries). Also, this healing technique helped millions of people around the world for the past 13 years. Now, MEL has expanded to all 5 Continents. In the major cities in Asia, Europe, America, Africa an Australia, we have Regional Centers that operate to help the local people to learn about Universal Energy Healing.

Furthermore, Universal Energy Healing has become a division of the Open International University for Complementary Medicines in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Dr. Luong was a member of the Board of Governors of the University.
